Mucha designed this necklace, which was made by the important Prague jeweller Rechner, as a wedding present for his new wife. Three doves, symbols of love and marriage, with opal feathers, form the centrepiece of the necklace, which is also hung with horseshoe clusters of baton-shaped gemstone beads.
